With over 70 years of experience in language teaching, Eurocentres is committed to providing services of the highest standards at schools all over the world. 

Overview

A Language Year or Semester is a long-term programme of study aimed at students who are committed to greatly enhancing their chosen language skills. Starting at 22 weeks, students can choose the length of their stay, for a duration of up to 48 weeks. Immersing yourself in a different country long-term is a sure way to truly experience a new culture, as well as become fluent in a new language.

For courses of 22 weeks or more, students have the option to change their Eurocentres course, or school, should they wish (in the UK for English and in France for French). This is often advised, as it provides a great opportunity to travel and experience new destinations, and can be arranged every 12 weeks.

Focus

While most students will enter into general language classes for their year, they also have the option to study other courses if these are available. General language classes take place in the morning, and students enrolled on a language year programme can also add two afternoon classes a week to their schedule. This makes a total of 25 lessons a week, with the afternoon classes focusing on developing global citizenship through contemporary topics and themes.
