The course consists of core academic knowledge acquisition, followed by opportunities to practise what has been learnt both within and outside the school. Examples of practice activities include presenting research data, producing academic compositions and collaborating within a project research group. The focus of the course is to enable students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their chosen field. Where it is considered helpful, visits to relevant places of interest are organised for extending the student’s understanding and experience in their subject area.
