Overview

A Eurocentres BEC course not only aims at improving general language levels, but also prepares students for Business English Certificate exam. This is the second in a series of three Cambridge English Qualifications Business Certificates, which are qualifications that show employers that you can communicate effectively in a business environment. As the BEC Vantage is for students at an Upper Intermediate/B2 level of English, it acts as the equivalent to the Cambridge English First Certificate (FCE) but with a focus on business. Passing this exam at a high level proves to employers that you have the skills and language ability to thrive in an English-speaking workplace.

Focus

This course consists of 30 lessons per week, including 20 morning lessons of general language improvement, 5 afternoon lessons of Business English, and a further 5 afternoon lessons of BEC Vantage guided exam practice. In the morning programme, you will build your English fluency, grammatical accuracy and 21st-century communication skills. In the afternoon sessions you will focus on building essential vocabulary and communication skills for the workplace, as well as the exam itself. 5 lessons a week are dedicated to exam practice and mock testing.
